A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with major injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Palm Desert.
According to police, the collision occurred at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Country Club Drive and Sagewood Drive.
Upon officer arrival, the driver of the vehicle left the scene. A description of the vehicle has not been made available.
