Olivia Garvey was born in Los Angeles, California, moving to Park City, Utah when she was six and made her way to Palm Desert, CA when she was 12. Olivia went to Palm Desert High School where she played softball and was on Varsity cheer for three years.
After high school Olivia made her way to Arizona where she spent her freshman year at the University of Arizona and then made her way to rival school ASU to study Sports Broadcasting. While attending college she interned for the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers during Spring Training.
After her Spring Training internship, the Dodgers offered her a summer Job for Sports Net LA, Lakers and Galaxy where she interviewed coaches and players while making highlights for pre and post game shows.
After college Olivia was offered her first job at the NFL Network in Culver City where she cut highlights for Thursday Night Football and was a part of the Redzone show on Sundays cutting the every touchdown highlight at the end of the show.
Olivia is now the full-time Sports Reporter/Director for NBC Palm Springs.
