Thalia Hayden anchors NBC Palm Springs’ News First, Morning & Midday from 6-7am, & 11-11:30am.
With 20 years in television news, Thalia is a veteran journalist on a mission to help people get healthy. She’s the station’s health reporter and frequently volunteers her time to emcee events, moderate panel discussions, and speak in front of crowds. More specifically, Thalia has worked as an emcee or keynote speaker for organizations such as Angel View, Boys & Girls Club of the Desert, Desert Cancer Foundation, Desert AIDS Project, Big Horn Bam, American Heart Association, United Way of the Desert, Palm Springs Animal Shelter, Animal Samaritans, College of the Desert’s Foundation, Mama’s House, Rotary & Women’s Club (of all valley cities) and the list goes on.
She also works closely with NBC Palm Springs community partners like Honda & Toyota of the Desert, hosting their 2020 Emmy nominated segment, “Server of the Week.”
Thalia is originally from New Jersey and spent the beginning of her news career working for WNYW and WCBS in New York City. She has written her first book titled, “LOCAL CELEB” and is a Contributor for 1 Habit books. In addition to author and anchor, she owns her own company called ON CAM Coaching with Thalia Hayden.
