France’s Defense Minister has slammed Marvel’s movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” for what it calls a “false and misleading representation” of French troops.
For her powerful and moving performance as Mamie Till-Mobley in “Till,” Danielle Deadwyler was nominated for a BAFTA Award, a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and several other industry prizes.
She is known in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” as Nomble, the spear warrior of Dora Milaje, the guards entrusted to protect the King. But in my heart, she is Janeshia Adams-Ginyard, a Palm Springs neighbor and friend.
