Dudley Dursley is all grown up! And he’s playing Egar Allan Poe! Henry Melling effectively channeled the macabre poet/author for Scott Cooper’s film adaptation of Louis Bayard’s “The Pale Blue Eye.” In the film, Melling goes wit by wit against Christian Bale who plays the retired veteran detective Augustus Landor.

Daniel Radcliffe and Evan Rachel Wood gave pitch-perfect performances as Weird Al Yankovic and Madonna respectively in “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.” It’s a parody musical biopic but here’s the surprising part – it has a lot of heart! And that’s largely due to these two actors and writer/director Eric Appel.

Eric Appel makes his feature directorial debut with “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” based on a Funny or Die short that he directed twelve years earlier. He co-wrote the script with the man himself, Weird Al Yankovic, and he is blessed in landing Daniel Radcliffe in the title role and Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna. The actors are fantastic!
