A public viewing is scheduled Friday in Murrieta for those wishing to honor slain Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Darnell Calhoun, whose funeral services will follow on Saturday in Rancho Cucamonga.
A vigil will be held in Murrieta Wednesday in memory of slain Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Darnell Calhoun, who was raised in the city and whose parents own Calhoun’s Texas Family Barbeque.
The family of a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy gunned down while responding to a domestic disturbance says that the community’s condolences and expressions of support in the wake of the tragedy “have uplifted us.”
