The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the city of La Quinta is inviting the general public to the La Quinta State of The City Business Awards and Expo.
La Quinta City Council unanimously rejected the controversial Coral Mountain Resort Wednesday night. Council decided the vacant land on the corner of Avenue 58 and Madison St. will wait for another project.
The La Quinta City Council is holding a special meeting on Wednesday to hear from developers, supporters and opponents of the project. Council could then make their final decision for the nearly 400 acres of land.
