The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will begin its extended summer hours Friday to provide guests with more time in cooler weather as heat rises in the desert cities.
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will host an Easter Sunrise Service at 8,516 feet Sunday morning, featuring songs and an inspirational message followed by breakfast and dinner.
Wednesday morning, tramway officials announced that the tram cars would operate as usual — the first tram car went up at 10 a.m. and the last one is expected to return at 8 p.m.
Beginning October 1, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will start taking entries for their annual snow guessing contest. To participate, submit an entry “postcard” with your guess of the first day snow will fall.
