Wind, rain and snow are on the horizon Tuesday, ending the warm and pleasant conditions in parts of Riverside County, according to forecasters.

“This incoming system will bring a chance of rain and mountain snow,” the NWS said. “Snow levels will fall to around 6,000 feet on Wednesday and 4,000 to 4,500 feet for early Thursday. There could be a few inches of snowfall, mainly above 6,000 feet.”

A flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Riverside County Mountains starting at 10 a.m. Monday.
