This year marks the 37th Anniversary for Pride in Palm Springs, festivities started earlier this week and topped off by celebrating the Pride Parade with neighbors from all over the community.

Filipino-American actress Rivkah Reyes wrote and starred in the short film “Gianna” blending horror and cult film genres. Reyes plays the dual role of Gina and her inner demon Gianna. I spent some time with Reyes to talk about the making of the film, its horror roots, and its LGBTQ+ tone.
