Kevin Atteberry, 57, of Los Angeles, who has a prior DUI conviction, was accused of murder, and various felony and misdemeanor DUI related violations, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The Cathedral City Police Department responded to the crash site at Ramon Road south of Varner Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. The Cathedral City Fire Department also responded and found the driver of one of the vehicles dead. Identifying information was not released.
