Two projects intended to improve transportation infrastructure in Riverside County may receive nearly $45 million in state funding, officials said Wednesday.
The eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway will be shut down Friday evening and during the predawn hours Sunday and Monday in Corona for work on an interchange improvement project, and motorists were advised to plan ahead to avoid getting caught in protracted traffic jams.
Analyses of how to go about adding one more general purpose lanes to the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway along the boundary separating Riverside and Orange counties will begin this summer.
