Multiple roads throughout unincorporated areas of Riverside County are closed because of mud, wash-out damage, standing water and other hazards stemming from the recent stormy weather, officials said Thursday.
An SUV carrying a family with young children plunged down an embankment along Interstate 15 during heavy rain in Temescal Valley Friday, but the occupants walked away unscathed.
