Daily Forecast – Mike
What a difference a day makes… Humidity associated with tropical moisture moving up from the south blanketed the southwest on Thursday, taking us from bone-dry to super-moist. Although cumulus clouds bubbled up over the mountains, the air is still too stable for any storm development. A few clouds will linger into Friday morning. Friday will remain muggy but high pressure expands our way on Saturday, warming and drying us. A quick passing trough from the north will cool us slightly at the beginning of next week but long-term forecast models show us possibly heating up mid next week. So much for the first week of Fall being a cool one… Fall officially begins here on Saturday evening.
