Fall is starting with an interesting mix of smoke and clouds. An area of low pressure will lead to cooler weather and a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the region through the weekend. As the system approaches from the north, we will see areas of smoke for the rest of tonight into Friday. As this area of low pressure moves eastward, another area of low pressure will approach the west coast. This will lead to continued cooler weather with night and morning low clouds for the coast and western valleys.
