Pickup Truck Collision Slows Traffic on I-10

Thousand Palms, CA A pickup truck hauling a small trailer crashed into the guardrail on Interstate 10 in Thousand Palms Friday, strewing debris across the freeway and clogging traffic in both directions. The crash was reported at 8:23 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 at Monterey Avenue. The truck swerved and almost hit a big rig before striking the guardrail and spinning out. The overturned trailer and debris led to a blockage of the left three eastbound lanes. There was no immediate report of injuries.
