La Quinta has largest high school girls’ tennis team in valley

La Quinta, CA The average high school tennis team carries 16 players. Two years ago, La Quinta High School only had 9 players on the girls’ tennis team. When head coach Eric Collas took over last year, the roster grew to 15 players. Coach Collas tripled the roster to 43 players this season, making the Blackhawks the largest girls tennis team in the valley.
