Reopened Santa’s Village opening day tickets sold out

LAKE ARROWHEAD, Calif. (AP) – Santa’s Village, the recently reopened theme town in Southern California where it’s always Christmas, already has its present. The San Bernardino Sun says tickets for next Thursday’s opening day have sold out. The village in the San Bernardino Mountains east of Los Angeles is a reboot of a famous tourist attraction that offered storybook-style cottages, candy canes and holiday-themed rides from 1955 to 1998. The park sat empty for nearly 20 years before it reopened two years ago. Now dubbed SkyPark at Santa’s Village, the 153-acre park features restaurants, an ice skating rink and outdoor activities including a zipline, hiking trails and a climbing tower. Admission is $65 for adults. Copyright 2017 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
