Mike Everett

Mike Everett joined KMIR as the networks Chief Meteorologist in 2017. A warm and engaging presenter, Mike is a native of Western Canada who has traveled and lived around the world. Mike has worked with stations in Florida, Colorado and now, California. He has first-hand experience with hurricanes, tropical storms, severe thunderstorms featuring tornadoes, flooding rains and damaging hail, blizzards and vicious winds. Mike is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association and holds degrees from the University of Central Florida and Mississippi State University. He also teaches Meteorology courses with Cal State San Bernardino. He is an avid skier, surfer, hiker, biker, and golfer and very proud Dad.
