Three Displaced in Moreno Valley House Fire

Three people were displaced Friday when fire tore through a Moreno Valley home.

The non-injury blaze was reported about 12:20 p.m. in the 27000 block of Arla Street and extinguished 30 minutes later, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Multiple engine crews responded and encountered a two-story home on fire. Authorities said the blaze sparked in the backyard and spread to the house.

American Red Cross personnel were requested to assist three residents displaced by the flames.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
