Four People Injured in Shooting in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY (CNS) – Four people were shot in Moreno Valley early Sunday, but they were all expected to survive their wounds. Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Moreno Valley station responded to a call of gunshots at 12:55 a.m. Sunday in the 24700 block of Sunnymead Boulevard. When they arrived, they heard numerous gunshots coming from a large crowd, according to Sgt. Don Atkinson. After multiple people fled the scene on foot and in vehicles, deputies searched the property and found two male adults and two male juveniles who were all taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, Atkinson said. No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
