Land Returned To The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians

417 acres of land have been returned to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. Friends of the Desert Mountains with the help of Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy headed up the operation. A 280-acre parcel is being donated which was originally purchased by the Friends to Protect Palm Oasis and Fragile Cultural Resources near Palm Canyon.
