Palm Springs Animal Shelter Opens Butterfly Sanctuary

The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is accomadating to a new type of animal.

A new monarch butterfly waystation was dedicated this morning in front of the shelter.

The station aims to counter the declining monarch population.

It offers a reliable food source and habitat mixed with the shelter’s normal landscaping to increase biodiversity.
