DOT Enforces New Rules for Automatic Refunds on Canceled or Delayed Flights

The Department of Transportation now mandates automatic refunds for canceled or significantly delayed flights. Passengers will receive cash refunds within 20 days for flight cancellations, three-hour domestic delays, and six-hour international delays. Additional rules cover refunds for lost luggage fees and unused prepaid services.
