Your SoCal Weather Briefing for Friday, November 1, 2024!

The Coachella Valley will see lots of sunshine this afternoon with slightly below-normal numbers in the lower-80s. A few clouds will slide overhead beginning tonight. As a trough of low pressure swings through the Southwest this weekend, its potency will weaken significantly. There will be very light, widely scattered showers in our mountains and Inland Empire to the Coast, but only a few sprinkles for the Valley between late-Saturday and early-Sunday... if anything at all. This system will also trigger on-shore winds which may become a bit gusty at times. Also, our midday temps will remain in the upper-70s/lower-80s each day into early next week. @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
