Michigan State rallies from down 16 to beat Cal 78-72

The first of four games at Acrisure Arena is complete with the Michigan State Women's Basketball program beating the California Golden Bears women's program 78-72. The Spartans, down 16 in the third quarter, surged back with a big second half, outscoring the Golden Bears 30-12 in the fourth quarter. Spartans' guard Julia Ayrault dropped 22 points, leading her to her 1000th career point. The Spartans are now 7-0 on the season and California drops to 6-1.
