“Landman” Cast Talks About new Taylor Sheridan Oil Drama

Based on the podcast Boomtown hosted by Christian Wallace, Thornton plays a crisis executive in this rich man, poor man drama set deep in the heart of West Texas during a fueling boom. Ali Larter plays Angela Norris, Tommy Norris’ (Billy Bob Thornton) spitfire of an ex-wife. She brings levity to this Taylor Sheridan production. James Jordan is a Taylor Sheridan favorite having appeared in many of the filmmaker’s projects. But from 2017’s “Wind River” to “Mayor of Kingstown,” Jordan’s characters always die.
