USC women's basketball knocks off Seton Hall 84-51
The University of Southern California Lady Trojans traveled south the Coachella Valley for the second time in two years. They hit the hardwood against Seton Hall University of the Big East. A strong first period from the Trojans helped set the pace of the game. The Trojans outscored the Pirates 27-13. Sophomore guard JuJu Watkins had quiet 20 points for the Trojans with seven rebounds. USC improved to 5-1 on the season and sits as the sixth ranked team in the country. Seton Hall's Faith Masonius led all scorers with 25 points. USC will stay in the desert tonight and play St.Mary's at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night at Acrisure Arena.
