Some wreaths are fetching over $200, with standout pieces selling for as much as $1,000. One unique highlight of the evening is the chance to shout "849!" to secure a wreath for $849. According to owners Willie Rhine and John Paschal, this tradition began 25 years ago and was passed to them when it outgrew its original location. "It’s an absolute joy to give back to the community," said Rhine. "The LGBTQ Center and the animal shelter are causes close to our hearts." Those unable to attend in person can still participate in the fun by bidding online through the newsroom tab at NBC Palm Springs’ website. Online bidding remains open until 7 PM tonight.
