Holiday Festivities Shine Across the Coachella Valley
Coachella Valley Lights Up with Holiday Cheer The holiday season is in full swing across the Coachella Valley, offering a variety of events to bring communities together. Tomorrow, the second annual Winter Wonderland Skate Night kicks off at the Burger Iplex, with a follow-up event on December 13. Visitors can enjoy free skate rentals with a toy donation to Toys for Tots, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive treats, and a free Santa hat for the first 100 guests. On Saturday, December 7, the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade dazzles with celebrity grand marshals Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses, Nancy Sinatra, and TCM’s Dave Karger. Community grand marshals include Kelly Go Lightly and Gina Lamont Grant from the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Local shops and restaurants will remain open, offering deals to celebrate the parade, while Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein encourages attendees to support local businesses. Indio’s annual Christmas tree lighting event takes place tomorrow evening, featuring live entertainment, food trucks, and special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The celebration runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. From skating to parades, the Coachella Valley offers holiday fun for all. For details, visit the NBC Palm Springs newsroom.
