Pickleball, one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., has found its professional foothold in the Coachella Valley with the Coachella Valley Scorpions—the state’s only professional pickleball team. As a member of the National Pickleball League, the Scorpions are making waves both on and off the court. "Being the first professional pickleball team in the Valley is really a benchmark," says Kim J., co-owner of the Scorpions. "It gives players of all ages something to aspire to while showcasing what pickleball can offer as a sport and lifestyle." Currently, their games are broadcast in partnership with Agua Caliente Casinos, where pickleball enthusiasts can enjoy matches at 360 Sports bars across all three locations.
