The Coachella Valley will be under a thick-deck of fair-weather high clouds today but with very low surface dew points and cooler-than-normal highs in the middle-to-upper 60s. A trough of low pressure moving through the Southwest on Thursday will have little effect on the Valley. We'll see mostly sunny skies with highs close to 70°. This trough will provide gusty evening winds, but only in those wind prone areas around the Southland. Valley temps remain close to those normal upper-60s/lower-70s highs for your Friday and Saturday. @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
