Lakeland Woman Faces Charges After Threatening Insurance Company Using Phrases from CEO Murder Case
Police in Lakeland, Florida, have charged Brianna Boston, a 42-year-old mother of three, after she allegedly made threats against Blue Cross Blue Shield during a recorded phone call about a denied insurance claim. Authorities say Boston used phrases identical to those found at the scene of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's murder, including "delay, deny, depose" and "you people are next." The FBI alerted Lakeland police to the incident, leading to Boston's arrest. A Polk County judge set her bond at $100,000, citing the serious nature of the threats and current national concerns. Boston denied owning firearms or posing a danger to anyone but criticized health care companies, calling them "evil" and deserving of karma. Lakeland Police Chief Sam Taylor emphasized the seriousness of such threats, warning others against similar actions. For more updates, visit our newsroom page.
