Among them are former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, who brings state executive experience to the table, and current state party chairs Ken Martin of Minnesota and Ben Wikler of Wisconsin, both of whom have experience leading Democratic organizations at the state level. New York State Senator James Skoufis has also entered the competition.
