Teddy Bear Toss Night at Acrisure Arena, Firebirds host the Ontario Reign

If you're coming out to Acrisure Arena tonight, be sure to bring a teddy bear, or 10. It's Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by the General Air Conditioning and Plumbing. Once the Firebirds score the first goal of the game, fans will throw the teddy bears onto the ice. A tradition that started in the Canadian Hockey League in December 1993. The Firebirds will welcome the Ontario Reign back to town. The last time these two teams met, the Reign took both games in a home-and-home. On Friday night, the Firebirds beat the Condors in Bakersfield 4-3 with goals from Lleyton Roed, Ben Meyers, Nik Brouillard and Brandon Biro.
