Bicyclist Killed on Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage

This morning we are waiting to learn the identity of a bicyclist who was killed in Rancho Mirage after colliding with a car. This is video from Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive were the accident happened at around 10 o'clock in the morning on New Year's Day. Both deputies and paramedics attempted life saving measures but the victim was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
