Thursday Governor Gavin Newsom Announced An Increase To Paid Family Leave.

Eligible Workers Earning Less Than 63-thousand-dollars A Year Are Now Able To Receive Up To 90-percent Of Their Pay While On Leave.

And Those Who Make Above That Threshold Will Receive 70-percent Of Their Income.

The Change Also Applies To Disability Benefits.

It Applies To New Claims Filed On Or After January 1st 2025.
