An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Saturday, January 4, 2025!
The Coachella Valley will be under high-cloud filtered-sunshine this afternoon with slightly above average high temperatures in the middle-70s.
Despite the addition of middle-and-high clouds on Sunday, temperatures will still warm into the middle-70s.
You can expect mostly sunny skies with a few midday high clouds on Monday with warmer-than-normal temps in the middle-to-upper 70s.
Here's the Heads-Up: As a closed low settles over the Southwest mid-week, temperatures back-off while winds wind-up.
Gusty Northerly winds are expected Tuesday through Thursday with the strongest winds between Tuesday night through most of Wednesday. Any SoCal precipitation with this system will fall around the Valley and on its mountains Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Also, Valley temps will be noticeably cooler with highs in the upper-60s/lower-70s for both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
