The Firebirds start the first of two this weekend in Ontario against the Reign. This is the fourth time in two weeks these two teams will hit the ice. The Reign have won the last three meetings.

Coachella Valley is coming off their best performance at home on Tuesday night with a 4-1 win over the Colorado Eagles on New Year's Eve.

The Firebirds currently sit in sixth place in the Pacific Division with 35 points, with just three points separating them from third place. Ontario sits in second place with 39 points.

Of note, the Seattle Kraken recalled forward Ben Meyers on Saturday.
