Scottie Scheffler withdraws from The American Express

On Monday, World No.1 golfer Scottie Scheffler announced he's withdrawing from The American Express in La Quinta later this month.

Scheffler continues to rehab his hand injury following an incident that happened in December.

Scheffler said, "After consulting with my medical team, I have made the decision to withdraw from next week’s American Express tournament to give my injury more time to heal," Scheffler said on Instagram. "I am still hopeful to begin my 2025 Season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am."

The American Express will tee off at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club on January 16th through the 19th.
