Indio Police Department Announces Restoration of 911 Services After AT&T Disruptions
The Indio Police Department announced this morning that 911 services have been fully restored after a temporary disruption impacted AT&T users. The issue, which was first reported yesterday, affected emergency communications for AT&T customers, causing delays in reaching emergency services. However, as of 4 a.m. today, all 911 systems have been functioning normally.
In a statement released yesterday, the Indio Police Department reassured the public that efforts were underway to resolve the disruption and urged residents to stay calm while the issue was being addressed. The department expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and cooperation during the service interruption.
The outage affected only AT&T users, and other service providers were not impacted.
