Barbara C. McClain, retired community college teacher and author, appeared on Desert Living to discuss her memoir, Hop Skip Jump: An Immigrant’s Story. Initially conceived as a family keepsake, McClain’s project grew into a published memoir at the encouragement of friends and colleagues.
