Sold-Out Concert Supports Local Cancer Survivors

Saturday marked the second weekend of The Gardens on El Paseo's annual concert series, featuring a sold-out performance. "Heart of Rock and Roll," a Huey Lewis and The News cover band, entertained the crowd with hits like "Heart and Soul." The event benefited "Shay’s Warriors: Life After Cancer," a nonprofit supporting cancer survivors. Funds raised by The Gardens on El Paseo have exceeded $1.5 million, benefiting local organizations. Next week’s concert features "Billy Nation," a Billy Joel tribute band, with NBC Palm Springs as a proud sponsor.
