Michael Orland Brings Open Mic Night to Palm Springs at PS Underground

Michael Orland, the renowned pianist and vocal coach from American Idol, is bringing his musical talents to Palm Springs with a new open mic night at PS Underground. Orland, who worked on the hit show for 16 seasons and coached stars like Jennifer Hudson, is inviting singers of all levels to take the stage, with him accompanying on piano.

Set to debut on February 6, this monthly event offers a unique opportunity for aspiring performers and music lovers to sing their favorite songs with live accompaniment. Orland promises a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, adjusting keys and guiding singers to ensure they shine.

“This is for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned performer or just love to sing,” Orland said. “I’ll play nearly anything, and we’ll make it fun!”
