Paradise Pickleball Celebrates Ribbon-Cutting in Palm Desert

Paradise Pickleball officially opened its doors today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the launch of its 21 PPA-approved pickleball courts tucked behind the Embassy Suites in Palm Desert. The facility was founded by Miles and Uta, who fell in love with the sport a few years ago and decided to create a place where players of all skill levels and ages can enjoy the game.

Speaking with Caitlyn Kelly of NBC Palm Springs, the couple shared their journey from vision to reality. "It started about a year and a half ago when we discovered some underutilized tennis courts behind the hotel," Miles explained. "We approached the hotel, and after some discussions, we renovated the courts and turned them into pickleball courts."

Paradise Pickleball’s mission is clear: to provide a welcoming environment for players at any level. “When you come here, we’re going to put you on the courts that match your skill level,” Uta said. This personalized approach ensures that everyone feels comfortable and can improve while having fun.

In addition to catering to local players, Paradise Pickleball is open seven days a week, offering both membership and drop-in rates. This flexibility makes it ideal for both residents and visitors. “We’re building a whole community here,” said Miles. "We look forward to meeting new people and making new friends."

Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or a newcomer, Paradise Pickleball is ready to welcome you to its piece of paradise in Palm Desert.
