Rancho Mirage Writers Festival Kicks Off with Star-Studded Lineup
The Rancho Mirage Writers Festival is set for another exciting year, uniting over 75 acclaimed authors and hundreds of literary enthusiasts at the Rancho Mirage Library and Observatory. The festival, now in its 11th year, offers a diverse lineup featuring Pulitzer Prize winners and renowned speakers covering topics from politics and history to humor and health.
Festival Director Erin Espinoza highlighted the unique atmosphere of the event, where authors and readers engage in thought-provoking discussions across multiple venues. This year marks the beginning of a special two-year celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary, with themes reflecting on the nation’s journey and future.
Tonight’s Angel Night will feature award-winning journalist Brian Williams and Pulitzer Prize-winning historian John Meacham. For those unable to attend in person, discussions can be streamed live by signing up for the festival’s e-newsletter at rmwritersfest.org.
