Cathedral Cove "Bullhorn Bully" Controversy Escalates as Neighbor Speaks Out

Neighbor Speaks Out Amid Escalating "Bullhorn Bully" Controversy

The ongoing saga of the so-called "bullhorn bully" in Cathedral Cove took another turn on The Roggin Report as neighbor Michael Hayes broke his silence, describing years of harassment and hate speech. Hayes, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, detailed how the situation has spiraled out of control, with the woman using a bullhorn to yell racial and homophobic slurs.

Initially hesitant to come forward, Hayes explained, "I wanted this to be a community response, but after three years of this, I couldn’t stay silent anymore." He also revealed that law enforcement has been involved, but they require a formal complaint to take action. "They need a face to put behind these charges," he stated, highlighting the difficulty in getting authorities to intervene.

During the discussion, panelists Katrina Dixon and Anthony Turk expressed their frustration, with Turk emphasizing, "This isn’t a simple neighbor dispute. This is targeted harassment, and it has to stop." Suggestions included leveraging noise ordinances, filing a petition, and seeking legal action through city council channels.

While the accused woman's identity remains undisclosed, Hayes and others hope that by coming forward, their community can finally find relief. "I’d be shocked if this continued much longer," Hayes said, holding out hope for a resolution.

With police involvement and growing public awareness, the case now hinges on whether legal action or city intervention can put an end to the disruptions. The community remains on edge, waiting to see what happens next.
