According To The California Highway Patrol, The Collision Happened At Around 2:30 This Morning Near The Whitewater Rest Stop Heading Eastbound.

The Crash Killed One Of Those Involved And Injured 2 Others, Who Have Been Taken To The Hospital.

The Identity Of Those Involved Or The Cause Have Yet To Be Revealed.

Traffic Was Being Detoured To Highway 111 Into Palm Springs, But All Lanes Have Since Been Reopened According To CHP.
