WWII Heroes Share Combat Stories at Museum

Today, two distinguished World War II pilots, Col. Joe Peterburs and Flight Lieutenant Colin S. Bell, shared their incredible combat experiences at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Peterburs, a P-51 pilot, and Bell, a Mosquito pilot, recounted their heroic missions over Germany during the war. Visitors were also treated to a rare display of a de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito and a full-scale replica of the Me 262 jet fighter. The special presentation, included with museum admission, was moderated by Fred Bell, giving guests the opportunity to meet two real-life WWII heroes and hear their unforgettable stories. It was an unforgettable moment that brought history to life for all who attended.
