Cathedral City Police Host Community Meeting to Address Concerns in the Cove

The Cathedral City Police Department is holding an important community meeting tonight to address growing concerns in the Cathedral City Cove. Law enforcement officials are providing updates on ongoing investigations, including one involving a resident who has been reportedly using a bullhorn to allegedly shout racial and homophobic slurs at neighbors. According to residents, this disturbance has been ongoing for years, with the woman involved allegedly terrorizing the neighborhood.

Local resident Michael Hayes spoke out, expressing frustration over the situation and noting that there is growing pushback from the community. "The consensus in the neighborhood is that we've had enough," Hayes said. "It's a beautiful thing to see that the community is standing up and not taking this lightly."

The situation escalated to the point where a protest was held in the Cathedral City Cove a couple of weeks ago. In response, the woman was issued multiple citations. In addition, Hayes, along with other residents, has been granted a restraining order against her.

Tonight's community meeting, has drawn dozens of residents who are passionately voicing their concerns. Law enforcement is expected to continue updating the community on current investigations and their plans for addressing the situation.
