L.A. Galaxy, Firebirds Shine in Coachella Valley

Students from Coachella Valley Unified School District were treated to a surprise visit from an L.A. Galaxy player, coinciding with the Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI). The Galaxy broadcaster Joe Tutino emceed the event, and the Firebirds extended their winning streak with a 3-2 victory over the San Diego Gulls. The Firebirds are now winners of four straight games and will travel to Henderson for an upcoming match. Tiger Woods announced he will not participate in the Genesis Invitational after the death of his mother. Edwin Cerillo and Mauricio Cuevas shared messages with young players in the Coachella Valley, inspiring them ahead of Day 4 of the CVI.
